Patriarch John X receives His Eminence Saba Esber

 

His Beatitude John X, the Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East received a visit from His Eminence Saba Esber, Metropolitan of New York and All North America, and Mr. Fawaz Khoury, Vice President of the Board of Trustees of the Archdiocese, at the Patriarchal Residence in Balamand. The delegation briefed His Beatitude on the church ministry in North America. For his part, His Beatitude stressed the importance of the Antiochian role played by the archdiocese and the deep relationship that bind the churches of the homeland and overseas. The meeting was an opportunity to discuss many public issues in Lebanon and Syria and current events.
